Who don’t want to be heard!

Who don’t want to be heard!

There are lots of debates going on about freedom of expression. Some believe that they have every right to speak whatever comes in their mind, but some feel that the content should be filtered with decency and morality before speaking out. Before going into any vociferous debate, we need to understand the difference between “Speaking with Intention” and “Speaking for attention”.

Speaking with Intention

Any independent thoughts, a piece of arts and research finding should be allowed to publish without curtailing under the influence of religious sentiment, feminism and racial discrimination etc.  It’s is almost impossible to define right or wrong intention as, at best, it can only be speculative. Some writers and artists speak with right intention but become a victim of irrational fundamentalism.  There should be some mechanism which can protect an artist, writers, speakers and thinkers from speculation and suffering of unreasonable restriction.

Speaking for attention

As digital communication is taking over the world people are trying to seek more attention. For number of clicks, some are using unnecessary filthy language. Some propagate hatred messages to seek attention from a particular community with ill-intention. Individual bully someone online, in front of million people which changes mass -perception against that particular person. Cyberbullying drives people suicide to mental illness.

Let’s debate on freedom of expression ;)

Lunch Table

Nowadays, office lunch tables rock with discussion on low inflation rate and falling oil prices. Some firmly believe that good days promised by Mr. Modi have already come. By any chance, if you are not the fan of Mr. Prime Minister and try to counter his/her argument then you will be slammed for making some sense and providing some economic facts. I have no doubt that “Perception Management” is the one of the most successful theory in the human history after all it has conceptualized by US military.
I have nothing against Prime-Servant but it’s beyond my understanding, how he is responsible for whatever good happening around the globe and not a single bad one in India. The oil prices are falling because of geopolitical reasons, low demand and relatively more supply because of US shale gas boom and Mr. Modi has nothing to do with any of these.Read More Some believe that America has become the world’s largest oil producer because of Modi’s Madison Square exceptional performance.
Low inflation simply means increase in the purchasing power per unit of money or gain of real value in the medium of exchange and this happens with long term policy impact and central bank initiatives. We may give credit to our rock star banker Raghuram Rajan who just clarifies ‘Make in India’ is largely about ‘Make for India’.

Good days are about to come may be by 2019 so don’t be impulsive it takes hell a lot of time to change perception.

Random Thoughts

It was usual lunch time at office and I was discussing general stuff with my mentor, at some point during a discussion he said that it’s very important in life to decide what you want to do in future as early as possible and it applies to everything from career to marriage. I introspected myself and found it’s difficult to decide what I want to do in future.

I run with technologically enhanced generation and live in a free country so no standard set of rules apply on me except my very own country’s constitution which is quite more flexible than one can imagine.  I am 24-25 year old Bihari (Indian) boy who prefers his Mom’s recipes over YouTube cooking videos and at the same time I don’t mind spending 1000 bucks on some random mispronounced Italian or Japanese dish. I used to believe guns have more power than computer but now my Dad relies more on my tab than his bodyguard’s rifle. I find girls more decent and elegant in short skirt than sari. I prefer visiting Baskin Robbins than drinking hot water in chilly and foggy winter of Delhi. I stay in my female friend’s apartment in night and we don’t have sex. If required I wash my dishes than depending upon maid. I have a friend who left his PhD scholarship and took 3 million loan to pursue some random course which he believes is right for him. I find communism interesting and still believe in democracy.

The point I am trying to make is that growing old, normal life, money, getting married and work for living are overrated. We should do experiments with life rather going by standard set of rules.  I know that nothing conclusive I have written but sometimes it’s not necessary.

ADHIKAR RALLY: IT’S OUR RIGHT

Last night, I was down with fever but it went down when I heard Nitish Kumar’s speech today morning. It was an unparalleled speech by any Bihari leader. First time I heard a leader from Bihar is mentioning ‘per capita income’, ‘human development index’, ‘economic policies’ and ‘industrial growth’ in his speech. Sesquipedalian leaders from Bihar used to speak about caste, religion, equality and many more irrelevant words. Kumar’s speech was astounding like Bihar’s growth rate of gross state domestic product (GSDP).

ADHIKAR RALLY: SPECIAL STATUS OF BIHAR

What does “special category status” mean?

In 1969 while devising formula for sharing central assistance among states, the Fifth Finance Commission acting in line to the Gadgil formula, had accorded special status to three states on the basis of harsh terrain, backwardness and social problems prevailing in these states. Thereafter number of such states has increased to 11. As per Gadgil formula a special category state gets preferential treatment in federal assistance and tax breaks. The special-category states get significant excise duty concessions, and thus help these states attract large number of industrial units to establish manufacturing facilities within their territory.

Adhikar Rally

Is it a power show ahead of next general election or a serious attempt to get special status for Bihar? I am not a political analyst but I used my common sense to get gist of this rally.

Ramlila Miadan, Delhi was selected place for rally keeping in mind that approximately 18 % population of Delhi is from Bihar.

Sunday, 17th March was chosen date for really another intelligent decision. 80 % Delhi’s population involved in service sector and enjoys Sunday as holiday.

Kumar’s speech was focused on economic growth, education standard and future industrial revolution. Almost 58 % of Biharis are below 25 year age who does like economic terms and education in speeches.

I am not judgmental here but in any case it’s a spanking signal for Biharis because upcoming elections will be fought on the idea of development. I couldn’t forget 2005 Assembly election of Bihar when Rashtriya Janata Dal cut my father’s MLA ticket and gave ticket to son of Don Bhagar yadav because his caste population was more in my father’s constituency. But now ball has shifted on development! Well played Nitish Uncle, soon I will join Politics ;).

AAM AADMI PARTY

During our evening chitchat I said to Jay, “Current Gujarat government has Rs 1.45 lakh crore of public debt it means 6 crore Guajarati have to contend with an individual debt of Rs 20000 approx.”It was just one of the counter arguments made by me against “Vibrant Gujarat” as a role model of economic growth.  Jay countered me with an amusing argument, “You don’t want Narendra Modi as next prime minister that’s why you are saying these rubbish things.”  I just smiled and said, “of course, I don’t but I have thousands other reasons not this one.”  Jay quipped, “Will you vote for Rahul Gandhi then!”

After 2 hour of this conversation, one of my businessman friend called me and said with full sanctity, “ Today, My dad got two National Highway contracts and now no one can stop me  from becoming M.L.A of Congress in 2015 (upcoming Bihar assembly election). “  Frankly speaking I really didn’t get the idea how these two independent events are related. It may be because of business, money and politics nexus!

I said casually, “Bhai, this time you have to fight with “AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP)” candidate and it will be very difficult to get over him.  He laughed and said, “We live in India and more than 60% Indian only vote for money and they never think about development, education and corruption so don’t worry about this party it won’t hamper my vote bank.” I countered, “Isn’t that you and I make the India and our thinking reflects the country’s thinking. If we think ‘AAP’ will smash Congress and B.J.P in forthcoming general election it will because it is the party of common man or you can say mango people, it isn’t the party of Arvind Kejriwal or Manish sisodia or Kumar Vishwas they are only providing us the podium where mango people of India can fight against dynasty and communal politics.” My speechless friend bumbled, “I agree with our view point but how ‘AAP’ will reach out to the grass root level?” I replied, “People like you and me will promote and campaign this party via SMS, blog, Facebook update and also by motivating our driver, dhobi, doodhwala and all the people with whom we communicate in day to day life.”  My friend said, “You are right buddy and from now onwards I will think beyond business, money and politics nexus and work for AAP and will try to become AAP M.L.A in 2015.

It’s my kind request to all of you propagate AAP ideology and motivate common man to vote for our “AAM AADMI PARTY” not for B.J.P and Congress.

The Wife Material

To imagine a world without women!

No color, no heterosexual love, no heterosexual sex, no children, no mother, no sister, no wife, no girlfriend, no life and most importantly “more pain in the ass”.

Urbane and Suave Middle Class Indian Society
Recently released movie, Cocktail depicts the Indian men’s mentality about marriage choice or spouse selection. Most of us choose the girls who cook food, dress conservatively, earn less money than us and wins our parents approval. Why does a gal’s dress and her independency stopping us from accepting her as our better half. We don’t have any problem in dating with skimpy clothing girl, we adore going movie, discotheque and pub with them but when it comes to marriage we simply refuge them by saying that she isn’t “The Wife Material”. I have no idea why our so called civilized and educated society keeps double unacceptable standard but it saddens me deeply and spark a flame in my heart to rebel against this fucking male chauvinist society who only cares about their comforts and stereotypes girls into two categories – “The Girlfriend Material” and “The Wife Material a.k.a The Good Indian Girl”. This Society clearly has two extremes a “Good Indian Girl” and a “Hooker”. Any girl who is not like a good Indian girl is certainly a hooker from this society’s perspective.

I know an M.B.B.S doctor whose marriage is on the brink of divorce only because his wife is a banker and earns more money than him.

I have a female friend, whose parents don’t want her to pursue higher studies because it will be difficult to find a boy for her.

Do you call it civilized and educated society, I don’t.

Stupid Indian Society

In this society, men treat women as a property. Men are sexually harassing, stalking, beating, physically abusing and raping her and still hoping she will fall in love with them.
They have two master solutions to reduce rape cases. They will marry their girl in the age of 14 and they will stop consuming noodles because it causes hormonal imbalance and provoke them to rape women. Hat’s off to their ideas.

According to Union Health Ministry statistics, 68 percent of girls in Rajasthan are married off before the age of 18 and 12 percent of them married off before the age of 10.

These kind of thought not only raping our women but also our science and development.
